    Our new collection brings to life the exuberance and joy of Poppies. In homage to designer Mehera Blum’s late mother, Laurie Blum, Mehera reimagines her mother’s Poppies' painting through hand-carving.

    Each one of-a-kind wood creation is hand-carved by a Balinese Mangku (priest). The creation of each bag takes several weeks to hand-carve and hand-shape. 

    The clutch comes with a hand-crafted short chain to "clutch" for all of your elegant affairs. Optional long handcrafted chain and/or wood-beaded straps are available for purchase as well, which can be hooked on to the interior, so that the bag can be worn over the shoulder or as a cross-body.

    When I purchased a Blumera creation, I did not expect that I would feel so moved by it as I do with my favorite paintings. These are beautiful works of art, with each piece telling a story that I became part of. The beauty and attention to detail is of course present, but there is also something transformative and inspiring - sacred, even - about their creation. I greatly value things that matter. Blumera crafts timeless, classic, and exquisitely beautiful pieces that do just that.
