    The Simurgh, hummingbirds, camellias, and roses are meticulously and brilliantly hand-carved into aged teak wood inspired by Laurie Blum's painting Conference of the Birds. Through a laborious process the wood is then hand-crafted to take the form of a clutch. The clutches are hand-painted in brilliant hues. 

    In keeping with the Blumera ethos and our sustainability practices, each creation from this collection will be made to order.

    When I purchased a Blumera creation, I did not expect that I would feel so moved by it as I do with my favorite paintings. These are beautiful works of art, with each piece telling a story that I became part of.
